Raspberries

Raspberry canes are liable to drying out. Buy early, plant quickly, and keep the roots moist if you have to store - mostly £10.00 per 10 / £6 per 5, with some exceptions.

Yellow autumn fruiting variety, a sport of Autumn Bliss but slightly sweeter.

Autumn Bliss

 

August onwards, heavy crop on new canes, good flavour; needs little support.

Julia

 

Early, heavy crop, good quality and flavour, moderate vigour, plant 40 cms apart.

Glen Ample

 

Mid. Heavy yields, large fruit, spine free, long cropping season, spine free, vigorous.

Glen Moy

Early, large berries, good flavour, spineless canes, dislikes wet soils.
Glen Prosen Mid. Heavy yield, moderate vigour, good for jam and freezing.

Late. Orange-red berries of good flavour. Fairly heavy crops. Some resistance to aphids and blight.

Very late. Fills the gap before the autumn types;good quality.

Polka - NEW

New Autumn type, cropping before Bliss, giving a heavier total yield.

Tullameen
